Conférence de Dion Mundy, chercheur néo-zélandais : "Current grapevine trunk disesase research in New Zealand"

Résumé

Dion Mundy will present an overview of the grapevine trunk disease issues in New Zealand and the current research approaches that are been used to develop management options for the Industry. The presentation will include a short history and background of the New Zealand wine industry as well as a description of the organisations actively involved in research.

Current research includes chemical and molecular detection of pathogens, pathogenicity testing, chemical usage for disease management, integrated pest management and ecological surveying of populations at a vineyard level. Mr Mundy has twenty years’ experience as a researcher following a childhood working at the family vineyard and winery.

His other research interests include Botrytis bunch rot management and other aspects of applied disease management in a vineyard setting.
